Thank you for your interest in the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network’s research grants. We are currently accepting applications for a Fellowship Grant to provide additional funding to the teams of current and past PanCAN grant recipients.

OPEN  2021 Pancreatic Cancer Action Network Fellowship, funded by the Francois Wallace Monahan Fund

Amount: $150,000 | Duration: Two years
The Pancreatic Cancer Action Network Fellowship, funded by the Francois Wallace Monahan Fund, is designed to help advance developing pancreatic cancer research. This Fellowship is available to a graduate student, postdoctoral fellow or medical resident who is of French nationality and is on a project team of a PanCAN grant recipient.

CLOSED  2021 Pancreatic Cancer Action Network Career Development Award

Amount: $200,000 | Duration: Two years
Supports junior faculty to conduct pancreatic cancer research and establish successful career paths in the field. Proposed research may be basic, translational, clinical or epidemiological in nature and must have direct applicability and relevance to pancreatic cancer. Special consideration will be given to understudied areas in pancreatic cancer research.

Building a Community for Progress

In addition to receiving financial support for their research, grantees participate in PanCAN’s Community for Progress. Our mentorship program connects grantees with leading scientists in the field. Ongoing career support activities offer opportunities for education and professional development to help keep our community of researchers committed and involved.
