This year, more than 57,000 people in the United States will be diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. That’s why PanCAN and our community of advocates work year-round to push for progress and to accelerate research for this deadly disease. We won’t stop until we stop pancreatic cancer! More must be done to increase the federal investment in the disease. It’s easier than you think to make a difference.

June 15-19, 2020, we held our first-ever virtual PanCAN Advocacy Week. From across the country, thousands of people – just like you –united to make our voices heard, delivering a strong message to Capitol Hill: Pancreatic cancer does not stop or slow down and patients cannot wait.

The results were amazing! Take a look below at what we accomplished together.

Advocacy isn’t just one week a year. We work every day to fight for pancreatic cancer patients. Learn more about how you can get involved in our advocacy efforts and make sure your members of Congress know your priorities.

Any time is a good time to let Congress know what matters to you by sending a message with our priorities! Just use this pre-written email template that you can quickly send to your members of Congress. All you need to do is plug in your name and voting address and click “Send Message.”

  • Give monthly: Join our Circle of Hope. PanCAN provides free support and resources to pancreatic cancer patients and caregivers because of your support. Even a small monthly donation makes a big difference!
  • Share your story, today and always! Snap a picture of yourself holding up this sign, add it to our honor wall and share it with your friends and family on social media tagging @PanCAN.
  • Get involved in your local community. Connect with your local PanCAN affiliate on Facebook and continue your advocacy work on a local level!

Your gift will improve the lives of pancreatic cancer patients
