Campaign: After Cathy Bellon was diagnosed with breast cancer, she couldn’t find a cause ribbon she felt truly symbolized her challenges and honored her journey. So, she created one. Cancer and Fishnet Stockings
Product: Maryann Grau’s ‘Cancer and Fishnet Stockings: How Humor Helped Me Survive a Life-threatening Disease, the Loss of My Favorite Nail Polish and Other Calamities’, started as a series of email updates to family and friends as she began treatment for pancreatic cancer. “Humor was important, because without the ability to laugh, the urge to surrender would be too strong,” says author Grau.
