distribute materials about our patient and liason services (pals) program
We believe that every person diagnosed with pancreatic cancer should have access to current information about the disease. That’s why thousands of volunteers across the country are telling healthcare professionals and others in their community about our Patient and Liaison Services (PALS) program. PALS is a comprehensive call-in information program for pancreatic cancer patients, their families and health professionals. All services and educational materials are provided at no charge.
Distributing Volunteer Healthcare Packets to health professionals increases knowledge about the PALS program within the healthcare community. As more healthcare professionals learn about the services offered by the PALS program, more individuals will be referred to PALS, allowing them to receive one-on-one support from a PALS Associate. This outreach to healthcare professionals is vital in ensuring that pancreatic cancer patients and their families in communities around the country are aware of available educational resources.
Please contact the Community Outreach team at volunteer@pancan.org or 877-272-6226 to request Volunteer Healthcare Packets for distribution to healthcare professionals in your area.
