“I feel strongly that it's my mission to be an advocate, a voice, because so many pancreatic cancer patients don't get the opportunity to do so. So many wonderful people have come into my life, whom I never would have met otherwise. It fills my heart with joy when new volunteers say ‘I want to become part of this group, and make a difference, like you are!’ Our affiliate has made an impact building awareness, fund raising, and equally important, creating a real community for survivors, families and friends.”
- Maija, sever-year survivor and volunteer

National PurpleLight Vigil for Hope
PurpleLight Inland Northwest took place on September 30, 2012 as part of the second annual National PurpleLight Vigil for Hope. This event happened in conjunction with over 50 additional PurpleLight Vigils across the country. It was a wonderful opportunity for family and friends of those touched by pancreatic cancer to come together to gain both comfort and encouragement. Photos will be available at www.purplelight.org.
PurpleRide Spoke-D'Alene 2012
