Extended One Day!
Wednesday, June 19, 2013
The National Call-In is an opportunity for all Pancreatic Cancer Action Network supporters across the country to join together with one voice to tell Congress: Save the Medical Research Funding That Saves Lives!
This year, due to a technical glitch that occurred yesterday, we have extended the National Call-In by one day. Please make your voice heard and help reinforce the in-person meetings that nearly 600 advocates had yesterday during Advocacy Day. Urge your members of Congress to tell their leadership to support a permanent fix to sequestration and to provide sustained adequate federal funding for medical and cancer research. You will also ask them to deliver a speech on the floor of the U.S. Senate or House about pancreatic cancer and the need to protect this funding. To learn more about our message to Congress, click here.
To participate in the National Call-In, click on the button below for instructions on making three quick calls – one to each of your two senators and one to your representative. Please be sure to make your calls on Wednesday, June 19, between the hours of 9am and 5pm (Eastern), when congressional offices are open. By clicking on the button below, you will have access to who you should call, the phone numbers, and what you should say.
Important Note: Once you have completed each of your calls, please be sure to fill out the feedback form at the bottom of the page to let us know how your calls went and so that you will be entered into our raffle drawing for either a two-night hotel stay in Washington, D.C. for Advocacy Day 2014, or a $100 gift certificate to the Shop Purple store.
If you have any questions or trouble accessing the call alert above, please contact us at (877) 272-6226.
