Advocacy Day 2013 Accommodations

Accommodations for the Seventh Annual Pancreatic Cancer Advocacy Day are available at the Capital Hilton, located in downtown Washington, DC. The Capital Hilton is located two blocks north of the White House on 16th Street and K Street, in Northwest Washington, DC. The hotel is easily accessible to three different Metro Stations: Farragut North (Red Line), Farragut West (Blue & Orange Lines), and McPherson Square (Blue & Orange Lines).

We have arranged for a limited number of rooms to be available for a discount rate of $259 per night (for single or double occupancy), plus taxes and service charges. This rate is based on availability and will expire on May 26, 2013, so please book your room as soon as possible. If you call the hotel directly, mention the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network block to get the discounted rate.

Transportation Information

While the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network will provide Metro farecards to transport advocates from the Capital Hilton Hotel to Capitol Hill for congressional meetings, participants are responsible for making their own airfare/transportation arrangements to and from Washington, DC and the hotel. The Pancreatic Cancer Action Network cannot reimburse travel, hotel accommodations, or parking expenses. For more information on traveling to and from Washington, DC, please visit our travel page.

Cabs from Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport (DCA) to the Capital Hilton will cost approximately $20 one way (plus tip), and the trip will take from 20 to 30 minutes, depending upon traffic.

A Metro stop is located at the airport as well. (To get to the hotel, take the BLUE LINE train labeled LARGO TOWN CENTER eight stops and exit MCPHERSON SQUARE METRO STATION.) The ride will cost $3.05 during non-rush hour times and on weekends and $3.60 during rush hour, and will take about 15 minutes plus a 5-minute walk to the hotel.
