Advocacy Day 2011 Accommodations
Accommodations for the Pancreatic Cancer Advocacy Day are available at the Crystal Gateway Marriott located in Arlington, Virginia (a suburb of Washington, D.C.) We have arranged for a limited number of rooms to be available for a discount rate of $199 per night (for single or double occupancy), plus taxes and service charges. This rate is based on availability and will expire on May 6, 2011, so please book your room as soon as possible. If you call the hotel directly, mention the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network block to get the discount rate.

While the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network will provide Metro farecards to transport advocates from the Crystal Gateway Marriott Hotel to Capitol Hill for congressional meetings, participants are responsible for making their own airfare/transportation arrangements to and from the hotel. The Pancreatic Cancer Action Network cannot reimburse travel, hotel accommodations, or parking expenses.

A complimentary hotel airport shuttle service runs every 15 minutes to and from the hotel to Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport (DCA).
Cabs from Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport (DCA) to the Crystal Gateway Marriott will cost approximately $7 one way (plus tip) and the trip will take from 10 to 20 minutes, depending upon traffic. A Metro stop is located at the airport as well. (To get to the hotel, take the BLUE LINE Rail labeled LARGO TOWN CENTER METRO STATION and exit one stop to CRYSTAL CITY METRO STATION.) The ride will cost $2.20 during non-rush hour times and $2.40 during rush hour and will take about 3 minutes plus a 5-minute walk to the hotel. The Metro has a stop under the hotel.
