Wage Hope With Us In November
and Beyond

The Pancreatic Cancer Action Network is blazing new trails in the fight against pancreatic cancer. We will Wage Hope and never surrender in our pursuit to change patient outcomes. November is National Pancreatic Cancer Awareness Month – the ideal time to take up our new rallying cry and Wage Hope! Are you with us?

Why I Wage Hope: A Son's Story
In 2001, 9-year-old Josh Yazman lost his mother, Melissa, to pancreatic cancer. In June 2014, he decided to take on this deadly disease in honor of his mother and took part in his first PurpleStride® event in Washington, D.C. Hear his stirring words, urging us all to Wage Hope.

Wage Hope on World Pancreatic Cancer Day – NOVEMBER 13
The first-ever World Pancreatic Cancer Day takes place on November 13. Join pancreatic cancer organizations from around the globe for a day of education and awareness to advance a global movement to new heights.

Wear Purple for a Purpose
On November 13, join news anchors, reporters and other members of the media, along with celebrities and people just like you, in wearing Purple for a Purpose to mark World Pancreatic Cancer Day. Follow the action and the purple on our Twitter, Facebook and Instagram pages. #PurpleforaPurpose
