Manager, Marketing & Communications -- Community Outreach
This position is responsible for promoting, protecting and maintaining the integrity of the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network brand and message platform in all areas of marketing communication for Community Outreach, including, but not limited to: email, collateral (online and print) event web pages and web content development specific to the volunteer base. Works in collaboration with the Community Outreach Department to develop strategies that effectively meet communication needs for year-round volunteer fundraising efforts and general volunteer support.
Bachelors Degree in business, marketing, communications, journalism or related field or equivalent experience, plus 5 years marketing, communications, PR or creative agency experience required. Key requirements for this position include staff management, proven ability to develop and execute a marketing strategy, strong copywriting and proofreading skills, project management, ability to meet deadlines and a working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite. Must be a team player, demonstrate ability to interact with employees and managers at all levels and the ability to drive projects across multiple teams. Prior nonprofit experience or working with volunteers a plus.
