Internship – Online Marketing
This online marketing and communications internship is designed for a highly motivated undergraduate student who is interested in gaining online marketing skills in a non-profit environment with Blackbaud Sphere and event websites, and will play a key role in gathering and analyzing data that drive business decisions.
This position will have the opportunity to work with event websites to help us maximize user experience for event participants and for the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network’s committed on-the-ground volunteer network. Day to day activities will include assisting in website updates, developing and analyzing reports in Blackbaud Sphere and Google Analytics, and assisting the marketing team in ongoing projects.
We are seeking an undergraduate with experience in business, marketing and/or communications and with a specific interest in statistical analysis. The internship requires a minimum commitment of 20 hours per week, up to 40 hours per week. The position is unpaid, but is available for academic credit and the candidate is solely responsible for coordinating that effort with their academic institution.
The successful candidate must be a proactive and curious learner, with an ability to work independently and collaboratively, and have demonstrated the ability to communicate and present ideas with clarity and precision. In addition, the candidate must be proficient with Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook, team player with strong interpersonal skills, excellent demonstrated writing skills, and have a basic understanding of HTML.
