We partner with the
American Association for Cancer Research (AACR)
to administer our research grants program so that a rigorous
peer review system is used to identify the most meritorious science
to fund, ensuring our generous donors that their dollars support
the brightest, most cutting edge researchers in the country.
In fact, for every dollar invested, from 2003 to 2009,
our grantees have leveraged it into an additional $8.61
of pancreatic cancer funding!
Since 2003, we have awarded 80 research grants
totaling nearly $13 million. In addition to growing the field of
investigators focused on pancreatic cancer, this funding
accelerates scientific and medical discoveries, and stimulates
collaboration across disciplines and institutions.
