The Pancreatic Cancer Action Network is pleased to have Joel McHale host the
10th annual "An Evening with the Stars. "Joel has a personal connection to
pancreatic cancer. His cousin Nick, to whom Joel was very close, passed away
last year from pancreatic cancer. Joel proudly wears his purple pancreatic
cancer awareness wristband and always speaks about our organization when an
opportunity presents itself. We are very grateful for his support.
Joel grew up on Mercer Island in Washington. He is currently in his third
year of hosting The Soup, a satirical weekly television show on the E!
television network. Most recently he has starred in pilot episodes for both
NBC and CBS. He's appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live, The View, The Today Show,
Iron Chef America, Will & Grace and CSI Miami. The Joel is a weekly guest on
the Adam Carolla Show, a
syndicated morning radio program.
