join us for the 5th Annual Movin' and Groovin' Pancreatic
Cancer! The event includes a 5K run and 2-mile walk
and will take place in Dorey Park in eastern Henrico
County.
Enjoy live music by Susan Greenbaum and activities
for kids, along with the chance to win prizes. Awards
will be given to the top three male and female finishers
in a variety of age divisions, as well as to the
top three overall finishers. The first 200 participants
to register for either distance are guaranteed event
t-shirts.
Adults can register before August 9th for $15 and
kids can register for free. Remember, the first
200 people to register will receive event t-shirts!
Can't make the date? Sign up as a virtual walker
or runner and run or walk the distance in your own
community.
On-site registration will begin at 7:00am. The run
and walk for adults will begin at 8:15am; our kids'
run will start at 8:00am.

the night away at A Purple Affair, a pancreatic
cancer fundraiser. The evening will include a silent
auction, hors d'oeuvres, and live entertainment.
Individuals can buy tickets for $75 or be event
sponsors. The four sponsorship levels are $2,500,
$1,500, $500 and $250 silent auction donations.
1.$2,500 sponsorships come with ten free tickets
at a VIP table, media recognition, and a full-page
ad in the front or back of the program.
2. $1,500 sponsorships come with four free tickets,
recognition in print media, and a half-page ad.
3. $500 sponsorships come with two free tickets,
mention in the program, and a quarter-page ad.
4. $250 silent auction donations come with 1 free
ticket and recognition in the program.
If you would like to honor a loved one at the event,
you will have the opportunity to secure a place
for them on the Memory Wall for $10 and have their
name printed in the program for $25.
